SCE-NETL-APERC Industry/Research Project Southern California Edison (SCE), the Nationl Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), and APERC teamed up to modernize electric power distriution systems through a multi-agent system that autonomously optimizes feeder configuration to reduce losses, control the voltage profile, and restore power to customers after disruptions. The project is part of electric grid modernization efforts by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Electricity Devlivery & Energy Reliability.
